My Nana's Best Tasting Salsa Challenge is the primary fund-raiser of the Arizona Hemophilia Association. The money raised through corporate sponsorship, ticket, food, beverage and raffle sales along with miscellaneous donations are used to continue our educational and emotional support programs for the hemophilia community at large. A few of our accomplishments include several educational retreats for families dealing with HIV/AIDS as it relates to hemophilia and our most successful ever CAMP H.O.N.O.R., sending over 120 children with hemophilia and their siblings for a week of summer camp fun and companionship. Our goal is to teach children with this disease that they can become active and healthy members of today’s society. We also recently completed a prevention program encouraging hemophiliacs to get their annual physicals. Please see the attached information for more details on hemophilia and Camp Honor.
